Around here people know us simply as “the Congregational Church.” It’s the perfect name. It is the congregation – the people – who make this church.  Our new energetic pastor, as of November 2023, is Pastor Fa’asoa M. Fa’asoa.

  • The people lift one another and the world up in prayer – daily
  • The people love singing and great music. We are grateful for the gift of music we find under the leadership of our music director, Ilo Schmid.
  • The people share in the work and witness of worship. Our small, relaxed but still respectful worship often makes room for the sharing of one’s faith.
  • The people create the fellowship– knowing each other’s names and needs, sharing faith and learning from our children, celebrating, grieving, and supporting one another.
  • The people care for the whole community we live in by offering programs that support and give to our town. We have hosted a Community Table where food and other items are available for the taking to anyone in need.  We also have a Little Free Library on the property where books are available for the taking.  These ministries were born from the needs created by COVID-19 and we are grateful to be ale to share our abundance with the community.
  • The people find their spirits nurtured with active participation in our church camp, Pilgrim Cove
  • The people direct the life of the congregation caring all aspects of our life together

Most importantly, this “congregation” welcomes everyone who finds themselves on a faith journey.  Wherever they are on their particular journey.  In our diversity of ages, talents, ideas, political and theological viewpoints, and sexual orientations, we grow individually and together as part of the family of God.
